Astronoctopus Plateby jjosryo

Artisan Crafts / Glass / Tableware©2011-2014 jjosryo
This was a present for my friend Jake, who came up with the word astronoctopus when we were trying to decide which kinds of octopi I should make. There's a whole list, and they'll get done some day. :D

He really liked it, and that's what counts! It was my second time using this mold and this time it slumped all the way so it lays flat and doesn't wobble. :)

Fused and slumped sheet glass, frit and confetti with painted elements.

Only slightly less plausible than putting a human in space. And just straight-up adorable!

Thank you so much! And yeah, never mind that this poor little guy would be frozen solid in the dead cold of space, he's having fun right now. :D
