This is what happens when I have quite a bit of random fusible glass mixed with a ton of boredom and the need to have a full kiln shelf in order to justify a fire. Sometimes throwing things together to see how they'll look fused is a VERY good idea.
I plan on making quite a few of these, in an assortment of colors and patterned dichroic glass. It will also give me more experience with slumping, which I haven't been doing nearly enough. This is my first piece that I've fully slumped, aka the entire bottom of the piece was making contact with the mold. All the other pieces I've slumped still look just fine and are fully functional, but they weren't held for just the right amount of time in the mold.
Fused and slumped glass (Bullseye sheet/stringer and CBS dichroic), annealed properly and safe to eat on. Bullseye ceramic plate mold.
